Position Description: Chef
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth functioning and product quality
- Guide and lead team members
- Monitor and adhere to budgetary allocations for respective areas of responsibility
- Participate in menu creation processes
- Develop work schedules
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in a similar role (especially a la carte with emphasis on Mediterranean cuisine) with a strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine
- Knowledge and experience in costings, ordering, receiving, and proper food storage and maintenance
- Knowledge and application of international safety and hygiene standards
- High collaborative spirit and teamwork, effectiveness under pressure and high demands
- Very good knowledge of English
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Professional conduct and a polished appearance
- Quick decision-making skills
