Position Description: F & B Controller
The suitable candidate will be responsible for:
Minimizing the cost of food and beverages without compromising product quality
Daily management of accounting and monitoring the supplier accounting records
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in economics, food technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Experience and excellent knowledge of warehouse, internal logistics, and invoicing software within the F&B department
- Knowledge of HACCP and ISO standards
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a similar or related position within the hotel industry
- Understanding of the basic accounting functions within the F&B department and strong
numerical skills
- Ability to take initiatives and make decisions, as well as solve problems under pressure
- Adherence to schedules and deadlines
- Accuracy in recording and submitting various types of reports
- Ability to establish new supplier relationships
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily, weekly, and monthly cost tracking of food and beverages.
- Adherence to all cost control procedures and cost recording.
- Daily product costing updates.
- Daily monitoring of revenue and expenses within the F&B department.
- Review of procurement and credit processes for all F&B products.
- Ensuring documentation and certification procedures of all products are followed.
- Inventory control of food and beverage reserves in order to enhance reserve turnover.
- Participation in monthly inventory audits.
