Position Description: F & B Controller

The suitable candidate will be responsible for:

Minimizing the cost of food and beverages without compromising product quality

Daily management of accounting and monitoring the supplier accounting records

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in economics, food technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Experience and excellent knowledge of warehouse, internal logistics, and invoicing software within the F&B department
  • Knowledge of HACCP and ISO standards
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a similar or related position within the hotel industry
  • Understanding of the basic accounting functions within the F&B department and strong

numerical skills

  • Ability to take initiatives and make decisions, as well as solve problems under pressure
  • Adherence to schedules and deadlines
  • Accuracy in recording and submitting various types of reports
  • Ability to establish new supplier relationships

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly cost tracking of food and beverages.
  • Adherence to all cost control procedures and cost recording.
  • Daily product costing updates.
  • Daily monitoring of revenue and expenses within the F&B department.
  • Review of procurement and credit processes for all F&B products.
  • Ensuring documentation and certification procedures of all products are followed.
  • Inventory control of food and beverage reserves in order to enhance reserve turnover.
  • Participation in monthly inventory audits.
