Job Description: Hotel Manager
The Hotel Manager is responsible for the management and administration of the hotel property, with key responsibilities including overseeing the operations of the food and beverage departments, monitoring the functioning of the floors and rooms, and achieving qualitative and financial objectives to optimize results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and ensure the proper functioning of all departments
- Manage operational functions, ensuring compliance with legal, health, and environmental regulations, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Control operational costs within approved budgets set by management
- Take initiatives and develop strategic processes (production procedures, cost control, safety and hygiene, procurement, maintenance)
- Evaluate and assign responsibilities to subordinates based on their skills and abilities
Candidates must possess:
- Ideally, a bachelor’s degree from a university or a college specializing in Management or Tourism
- Excellent knowledge of English and proficiency in at least one other foreign language
- Experience in hotel pre-opening preparations, staff training, and adherence to management protocols
- Experience in implementing hygiene and safety policies (ISO certification will be considered an additional asset)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a strong understanding of hotel management software
